I've been wearing a lot of linen. Linen shirts with short-sleeve linen shirts. Wear it unbuttoned over a tank top if you want layers. For shoes, canvas sneakers, sandals, or loafers

My go to easy fit with shorts is a tank top and an open button up, short or long sleeve
Throw some loafers or low profile sneakers and you got a whole vibe
