Dealing with Secure Boot can be tricky, especially if your system is configured with Legacy BIOS instead of UEFI. Enabling Secure Boot on a system with Legacy BIOS can render your Windows installation unbootable. Here's what you can try: 1. Check BIOS Mode: - Ensure your system uses UEFI mode, not Legacy BIOS (MBR). Follow this article to switch from Legacy to UEFI safely: Riot Support Article on Legacy BIOS to UEFI. 2. Update BIOS: - Ensure your BIOS is updated to the latest version. Visit your motherboard manufacturer's website for BIOS updates and instructions. 3. Secure Boot Settings: - After confirming UEFI, enable Secure Boot in your BIOS settings. Ensure that your boot mode is set to UEFI. 4. Reinstalling Windows: - If changing to UEFI mode and enabling Secure Boot still bricks your PC, consider reinstalling Windows in UEFI mode. Detailed troubleshooting guides: - Addressing VAN9001/9003 Errors on Windows 11. If these steps don't help, reaching out to Riot Support for personalized assistance might be best.
