Relaxed fit shirts
I'm sitting between a medium and a large: I have a short torso and wide shoulders. Should I get a large or medium relaxed fit shirt?

It's hard for me to get a feel of what the measurements would be if I don't have a visual reference. I'm only asking about how relaxed fit shirts fit with my body type because I've never seriously attempted to properly wear one before
the visual reference is the shirt you already have
getting the measurements and images of models who wear the shirt is much more useful for me

I recognize that my body is different, but seeing the height and leaness of the model helps me, because I have a batter undertanding of my height and body type.
Measurements are the same. Most places provide chest width and shirt length, sometimes sleeve and shoulder.
I know that they provide those measurements, but using models as a reference point makes sense for me because I am lanky

my proportions force me into boxy clothes cause of my small torso. regular ts scrunch up at the bottom and make my arms look thin.

medium worked just fine for me. usually, I don't get medium shirts, but relaxed fit medium shirts are perfect for my body type.
