Network issues cause sudden spikes in ping. Here's a list of steps to troubleshoot: 1. Check your internet connection: Ensure you have a stable and fast connection. 2. Use a wired connection: If you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to Ethernet for a more stable connection. 3. Close background applications: Close unnecessary applications that might be using bandwidth. 4. Restart your router: Sometimes a simple router reboot can fix connectivity issues. 5. Update network drivers: Make sure your network drivers are up to date. 6. Allow Valorant through firewall: Ensure Valorant is allowed through your firewall. More details here: (https://support-valorant.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048522893-Your-Firewall-VS-VALORANT) 7. Run network commands in CMD: Open Command Prompt as administrator and run the following: - netsh int ip reset - ipconfig /release - ipconfig /renew - ipconfig /flushdns - netsh winsock reset 8. Contact ISP: If issues persist, contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance. If you're still experiencing problems, visit the Riot Games support site for additional troubleshooting steps.
