Casual shoe brands under $220
Hi everyone, I’m trying to up my style game a bit and know nothing about brands anymore. I’m looking for some recommendations on casual shoe brands that are somewhat in style and in the sub $220 price range. I usually wear something like Adidas, Vans, or Puma. I see advertisements for many nice looking shoes on FB and IG, but I have no idea what sort of statement is being made by wearing these brands.

Like a business casual or low key recreation. Not for physical activity.
Fairly basic. Generally jeans and tshirt/polo, or chinos and polo. I tend to keep things low key.

black loafers (gh bass, allen edmonds shoe bank) or neutral color sneakers (vans authentics, adidas gazelles, etc.) are both easy to find and pair well with the other things
Typically the statement being made by brands advertising on fb and ig is ‘do not buy these’

Gonna respectfully disagree with the all white minimalist leather sneaker rec in 2024
They have a lot of colors, and for myself I prefer off-white for casual wear. Brought it up because OP mentioned sneaker brands, but you can good basic loafers for the same price
if you want white leather minimal shoes just get some reebok club c's or some gats
