Account Locked For A Support Error

So Recently, I attempted to change my account username and submitted a support ticket for assistance. Initially, everything seemed to be progressing well. However, some members of the support team began asking questions as if I needed help recovering my account. I clarified that my account was fine and that I simply wanted to change my username because the current one is difficult for me to remember when logging in. Despite my explanation, the support team suddenly stopped responding to my inquiries. Today, when I attempted to log in, I discovered that my account had been suspended. I hope this is a misunderstanding, as I do not want to lose access to my account over a simple username change or due to a potential error by a support team member. Im so scared right now that could be true and i may lose my account for such a thing like this
