Technical Issue; Fullscreen Error

I want to drag Valo onto my monitor screen, but it's trapped on fullscreen- when I try to swap it to windowed mode in the in-game settings, as well as unfullscreen (fn+f11), it glitches and remains fullscreen. Also, on my computer screen I'm unsure how to change the black bars that are visible in the screenshot.
