Realtek L8200A LAN stuck at 100 Mb/s no issues on other distros
I just switched from ChimeraOS and noticed my download speeds were caped just under 100Mb/s. Go into KDE settings and sure enough it is stuck at 100Mb/s. Also confirmed this by looking at the LEDs on my switch. Setting Link negotiation to Automatic and rebooting still resulted in 100Mb/s. I've never had this problem on any other linux distro I have used on this machine. Motherboard is a TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI). Don't see any known issues about this already unless I just didn't search for the correct string of words. Also it does report a speed of only 100Mb/s in the bazzite installer as well.

Forgot the most basic troubleshooting step. Re-seat the switch side ethernet cable.
ethtool reported that the link partner advertised link modes was not listing 1Gb/s
I moved to different port and got 1Gb/s instantly. Moved back to original port and it still works.
No idea why it randomly decided to stop working the second I switched to Bazzite....

If you're seeing this in the installer that would make this a fedora issue
We use their installer with their stock kernel
Zero customization beyond what it actually installs
If you're willing to, I would try a stock Fedora install and see if you get the same behavior
