Ping spikes in VALORANT can often be due to network-related issues rather than memory problems. Here are a few steps you can try to stabilize your connection and reduce ping spikes: 1. Check Background Applications: Ensure no other applications or downloads are running in the background that could be consuming your bandwidth. 2. Network Settings Optimization: - Use an Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi if possible. - Restart your router and modem. 3. Firewall Settings: Make sure VALORANT is allowed through your firewall. Detailed instructions can be found here. 4. IP Commands: - Run the following commands in Command Prompt as an administrator:
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset

5. Game Settings: Lower some of the in-game graphics settings to reduce load on your system, which could also help indirectly. 6. Riot Games Network: Sometimes, issues may lie with Riot's servers. Checking Valorant's server status around the time of your games can help determine if the problem is on their end. If these steps do not solve your issue, consider reaching out to Riot Games Support for further assistance.
