If you using nvidia are you using X11?
yes
has it always been doing this or did it start recently? Have you tried rebooting?
recently
get into grub and try and boot your previous image (it will end in Ostree:1) and see if the problem persists
To get into your grub menu, get into bios select to boot Fedora or Bazzite and press ESC once after hitting enter usually works for me
I'm in grub what now
see if you can select a (ostree 1) should be your last boot image. The top options would be ostree 0
How would I do that
I'm in the grub bash like terminal
This is the screen I'm talking about
If you have a grub terminal you might have pressed ESC too many times
See if you have an image with (Ostree: 1) at the end and boot into that and see if your problem persists
Didn't fix it
So an update didn't change anything. Try make a new user, switch to that user and see if your problem occurs for this user. If not then you have a weird config setting.
After login it shows this
How do I do that
This is a guide for Kubuntu but it should work for any KDE environment https://www.simplified.guide/kubuntu/add-new-user
The first step is open start menu
and the start menu crashes?
This is with start menu open,it's the blurred part
try disconnect one of the screens and see if the problem persists.
Nope
Doesn't work
try open a terminal with CTRL+ALT+T and lets try something simple like removing the user cache
rm -r ~/.cache
just be careful with that command as you are doing a recursive delete. See if that helps at allSolution
it was polonium
