This issue might be due to a problem with Riot Vanguard or the Riot Client. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve it:
1. Restart Riot Client and VALORANT: Sometimes a simple restart can reinitialize the update process.
2. Uninstall and Reinstall Riot Vanguard:
- Go to the "Add or Remove Programs" in the Control Panel.
- Uninstall "Riot Vanguard".
- Restart your PC.
- Launch VALORANT again to reinstall Riot Vanguard automatically.
3. Run as Administrator: Run the Riot Client and VALORANT as an administrator to ensure they have the necessary permissions.
4. Check for Other Updates: Make sure your Windows and graphics drivers are up-to-date.
5. Firewall Settings: Ensure VALORANT is allowed through your firewall.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, you might need to contact Riot Support for more advanced troubleshooting.
