Sound problem
Hi,
Ive been having problems with in game sounds since patch 7.07 when the built in HRTF came in. Ill upload a short video where u can hear how it sounds. I have tried every possible fix that riot suport gave me, still nothing seems to work. Turning of the Maxbot VO in game doesnt fix the problem, neither does leaving it on and turning off the windows one. Tbh i dont know what else to do, i would really appreciate the help. For sound issues after patch 7.07 introduced built-in HRTF, try the following steps:
1. Check HRTF Settings: Make sure HRTF is enabled or disabled based on your preference in the audio settings.
2. Audio Drivers: Update your audio drivers. Sometimes incompatibility issues cause such problems.
3. System Sound Settings: Ensure that your default audio device in Windows matches the device you are using for VALORANT.
4. Config File: Reset or delete the VALORANT config file to restore default settings. This path typically can be found at:
Delete the Config folder and the game will regenerate it.
5. Reinstall VALORANT: If none of the above work, a complete reinstall of VALORANT might fix corrupted files.
