Network Problem & Packet loss

Up until about 2 days ago, I had a consistent 8-11 ping on California servers, with an internet speed of about 1000 mbps upload and download. My internet speed has not changed, but now I am consistently getting the network error popup, and it shows that I am getting dropped packets in-game. My average ping has jumped to about 25, and when I get the network error popup it spikes to 100. My overall gameplay feels a lot laggier, and sometimes I get rubber-banded several times per round. I assumed that the issue would fix itself, since it has nothing to do with my internet speed, but it has now been several days and I am still having network issues. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what I can do to fix this issue.

Sorry to hear about your issues. To troubleshoot your network problem and potential packet loss, please try the following steps: 1. Restart Networking Equipment: Restart your modem and router. 2. Use Wired Connection: If you’re on Wi-Fi, switch to a wired connection for more stable performance. 3. Close Background Applications: Make sure no other applications or devices are consuming your bandwidth. 4. Update Network Drivers: Ensure your network drivers are updated. 5. Check Firewall Settings: Allow VALORANT through your firewall. More details here: Firewall vs. VALORANT. 6. Run Network Commands: Open Command Prompt as administrator and run the following: - netsh int ip reset - ipconfig /release - ipconfig /renew - ipconfig /flushdns - netsh winsock reset 7. Contact Your ISP: Sometimes ISPs may have routing issues that affect specific servers. If these steps don't help, you may want to open a support ticket with Riot Games providing them with a detailed description and possibly some network diagnostic data from tools like PingPlotter or traceroute.

Who's your ISP, and what's the general area you're playing from? Also are you hardwired or on wifi?
