A good laptop for both gaming and college work should have a balance of performance, portability, and battery life. Here are some recommendations to consider: 1. Budget Option: - Acer Nitro 5: Solid performance with Ryzen 5/7 or Intel i5/i7 and GTX 1650/1660 Ti GPUs. Good for gaming and multitasking. 2. Mid-Range Option: - Dell G5 15: Comes with Intel i7/Ryzen 7 and GTX 1660 Ti/RTX 2060. Reliable build and performance for both gaming and productivity. - ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14: Portable but powerful with Ryzen 9 and RTX 2060. Good battery life and excellent for gaming and college tasks. 3. High-End Option: - Razer Blade 15: Sleek, powerful with Intel i7/i9 and RTX 2070/3080. Excellent display and build quality, making it great for gaming and professional use. - MSI GS66 Stealth: High performance with i7/i9 and RTX 2080/3080. Thin and lightweight with a good battery life. Prioritize at least 16GB RAM and an SSD (512GB or higher) for smoother performance in both gaming and work-related applications. Check for student discounts, often offered by brands like Dell, HP, and Apple.

If it will be your daily driver for class work I would make sure to read reviews on battery life. A lot of gaming laptops will go from 100-0 in just a couple hours which will make it difficult bouncing between classes (I made this mistake with an ROG Zephyrus)

There's not much you can do. When gaming, laptops are meant to be plugged in, so the batteries aren't super big. Mine will last 2 hours at the most just writing a word doc in efficiency mode. There are much better options out there than this, I would just keep it in mind

This is a good laptop but the battery is the biggest drawback in it so I think it will be definitely in my list

bro any laptop u see if u want it for gaming + battery life both combined isnt possible just use this laptop on 50% battery and try to use integrated graphics card some laptops allow dedicated gpu to be turned off and 60hz if u have a gaming laptop obv it will have a high power consuming display and gpu and backlight if u turn all these off on these laptops it would make a difference (for 1-2 yrs) after 1-2 yrs battery life is very less
