Ping Issue when Streaming
So my internet is supposed to be able to handle at least 18mbps upload. When i press start stream i can see on my task manager its using up 4-5mbps on OBS (1080p 60fps 4800bitrate) which should leave at least 10mbps on the table for Valorant . Now what i don't understand is how im getting 1-2% packet loss and alot of network RTT jitter, is this a problem with my ISP or is it something i can fix with a few settings tweaked ?
Refer to the image to see what my settings look like when stream is on and off.

It looks like you are experiencing packet loss and network jitter while streaming, even though your upload bandwidth should be sufficient. Here are a few steps you can try to mitigate these issues:
1. QoS Settings: Check if your router has Quality of Service (QoS) settings. You can prioritize bandwidth for gaming traffic over streaming traffic.
2. OBS Settings: Try lowering the bitrate in OBS slightly. Sometimes lowering the bitrate can help with stability without significantly affecting stream quality.
3. Network Optimization: Ensure that no other devices on your network are consuming significant bandwidth. You can disconnect or limit the bandwidth for other devices.
4. Ethernet Connection: If you’re using Wi-Fi, switch to a wired Ethernet connection to reduce network jitter and packet loss.
5. ISP Routing: Sometimes, the route your ISP takes to reach the game servers can cause issues. Contact your ISP and inquire if there are any known issues or if they can help optimize your connection.
6. Background Applications: Ensure no background applications are consuming high bandwidth or CPU, which could affect both OBS and Valorant.
Lastly, make sure your network drivers are up to date and consider performing a speed test during your streaming hours to verify your actual upload speed.
