Networking
Hi guys, idk if this is the right place to drop this but here we go. I've been learning to code for last 8 months and been slow with my progess. i havn't given up yet but one of the main reason i started coding was because i wanted to make couple of app that i have in mind. i was hoping to make some connection with some great coder and maybe if they like the idea we'll be able to work on the app together. I've obviously have no idea where to start or how to make connection. if had the money I would have build it by now but thats not an option for me unfortunately. This is also my first coding discord community please guide. thank you

@Mukesh if you want to find a coding buddy to practice with, you can post in #discussions. This isn't the right channel for it though. It sounds like you're looking for more of a mentor or a coder-for-hire who will work for free, though... We don't allow recruiting on this server, paid or otherwise.
Hi Jochem, thank you for your reply. I know it may sound like that but this purely me trying to figure out where to go from where I'm at. I don't think I'll able to trust anybody i've met online to give away my idea for free.
if you get stuck and have any coding related questions, you can post them in this channel, as this is only to ask for direct help with specific coding issues, not to try to find someone who can code with/for you. And by that I mean, in general, questions where you can show code and point at things that don't work the way you want them to or produce errors.
Then why are you looking online for someone to help code your idea?
I'm honestly not sure that this qualifies as something we allow on this server, that's why I ask.
Honestly, I didn't know you only could ask purely coding related question. If I knew there were such strict rules here i would've never bothered as I mentioned i am new to discord.
this channel ( #front-end ) is purely for coding questions. We have rules against recruiting, because we have no way to protect our members from scams if we do allow it, and I feel like this gets close to recruiting
Asking how I can network with other coders? I don't think thats the same thing 🤨

interns do, a lot of the time, and it doesn't stop entitled people from asking
