The game is having some issues
I got the same problem here
Same problem, only it also freezes in the agent select (does even load the agent animation). I’ve been getting marked as AFK because of this and am starting to receive penalties. Happens only on the first game of the day, everytime.
your game is probably on an hdd
move it to an ssd if you can
if you dont have an ssd then try defragmenting hdd
