How would I describe these cotton shorts? #jt

They’re a thicker, not overly soft, cotton. Is there a word that describes this style, or should I just keep searching thick cotton shorts?

I might call it a rib knit. it’s not the “typical” jersey, French Terry or fleece that you see more commonly.

that's french terry if you search "french terry shorts" or "sweatshorts", you should find similar stuff

I thought French Terry looked more like this on the inside with the lil loops

I've seen it with loops like this as well as more tight loops like in JT's pic, but I'm honestly not knowledgeable enough to know the difference

here’s a closeup of a hoodie i own that the manufacturer described as french terry. the loops are less defined and more like JT’s shorts

You know what I think you’re right actually. I wasn’t seeing the loops properly but now I see what you’re saying @JT Money7272 it’s French terry after all you should listen to jimi
