What kind of clothes give retro summer vibes?

The annual county fair near me is doing a retro theme this year. When I hear “retro county fair” I immediately think 80’s movies, synthwave, and stranger things. What kind of clothing would fit that sort of aesthetic?

Light wash jeans, Nike blazers and a tucked vintage tee - probably for a band like Depeche Mode.
