Workers Routes not adding DNS records, URL returns DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

There seems to be some kind of issue with adding Workers Routes. This has worked fine for me with other sites (including one in the last few weeks), but not with this current domain.
I've added a Workers Route for my worker
serve-univoter with the route univoter.com , on the zone uinvoter.com. Normally this would (a) add a DNS record for that worker and (b) serve the worker on that domain. This time it's doing neither (see screenshots). I get no DNS records at all, and visiting the site returns DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.
As you can see, I've tried a bunch of other similar routes such as *.univoter.com/* etc, and none of them work or appear in DNS.
The other difference this time is that I purchased the domain through Cloudflare Domains (which I thought would make the process easier...!). I bought it 2 days ago so I don't think it's a case of waiting.

Worker Custom Domains add DNS Records, Routes don't
You can use either though, if you want to go the route way, can just do univoter.com/* and add an originless dns record

Not too much difference, Custom Domains give you a ssl cert (useless in this case, you already have a universal covering it), and a dns record (which you can create)
