Hey my company is wanting to do a spotlight on their LinkedIn. I can say no but it might seem fishy. Can I just say I’m a victim of identity theft and would prefer not?

Hibernate your profile, and say you're not active on LI now.
If they push back, say that you needed a break from allof the recruiters constantly reaching out when you're happy at your current job.

Oh, man ya that is tricky. I would just kibdly decline, and saybthwt you are a private person, and take privacy very seriously.
