It's possible your laptop isn't performing optimally due to factors like power settings, thermal throttling, or background processes. Here are some steps you can take to improve FPS:
1. Power Settings: Ensure your laptop is set to 'High Performance' mode in the power settings.
2. Graphics Drivers: Update your NVIDIA drivers to the latest version from the official NVIDIA website.
3. Game Settings: Lower in-game graphical settings to see if FPS improves.
4. Background Processes: Close unnecessary background apps to free up system resources.
5. Thermal Management: Ensure your laptop is well-ventilated to prevent overheating, which can cause thermal throttling.
6. Check for Updates: Make sure both Windows and VALORANT are up to date with the latest patches.
If your FPS doesn't improve after these steps, consider consulting official support or submitting a ticket.

Normally the operating systems they're using are completely clean
aka there's no software running in the background that would be consuming resources
I wouldn't trust those as those are very misleading at the very best
And at the worst it's completely inaccurate to real world experience
Can your monitor display over 200 frames? If you don't have a 500hz monitor I don't see the problem
