It's normal for games like VALORANT to temporarily take up more space during installation due to temporary files and the unpacking process. Here are a few steps you can take to manage your storage more effectively:
1. Free Up Space: Clean up unnecessary files. Use tools like Disk Cleanup in Windows or delete files you no longer need.
2. External Storage: If possible, transfer some files to an external hard drive or cloud storage.
3. Temporary Uninstallation: Uninstall unused programs or games temporarily. You can reinstall them after VALORANT is installed.
4. Check Download Location: Ensure the download location of VALORANT matches the drive where you want to install it.
5. Pre-Installation Cleanup: Delete temporary files by running "Disk Cleanup" or using a tool like CCleaner.
6. Expand Storage: If you frequently encounter storage issues, consider upgrading your storage by adding an external drive or internal SSD.
Following these steps should help you manage your disk space and complete the installation of VALORANT.
