If your push-to-talk (PTT) function isn't working despite correct keybind settings, try these steps:
1. Ensure VoIP Settings are Enabled: In the VALORANT settings under 'Audio' > 'Voice Chat', make sure both 'Party Voice' and 'Team Voice' are enabled.
2. Set Input/Output Devices: Verify that your correct microphone and headset are set as input and output devices under 'Voice Chat' settings.
3. Raise Mic Volume: Increase the 'Voice Chat Volume' and 'Mic Volume' to make sure it's audible.
4. Reset Keybinds: Temporarily change your PTT keybind to a different key and test it, then revert if it works.
5. Check Background Noise Settings: Ensure that background noise suppression isn’t too high, which can sometimes mute your voice unintentionally.
6. Run as Administrator: Right-click VALORANT and select "Run as administrator". This can sometimes resolve permissions-related issues.
7. Firewall Settings: Ensure that VALORANT is allowed through your firewall. Detailed steps can be found here.
8. Reinstall Audio Drivers: Sometimes outdated or corrupted audio drivers can cause issues. Updating or reinstalling them might help.
If the issue persists, consider contacting Riot Support for a deeper investigation.
