To enable TPM 2.0 on an ASRock motherboard with an Intel CPU, follow these steps:
1. Enter BIOS/UEFI:
- Restart your computer.
- Press the
3. Enable TPM: - Find
Del
or F2
key repeatedly during startup to enter the BIOS/UEFI.
2. Locate the TPM Setting:
- Go to the Advanced
menu.
- Look for settings labeled Security
, Trusted Computing
, or Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT)
. These labels can vary depending on the BIOS version.
3. Enable TPM: - Find
TPM Device
or Security Device Support
and ensure it is set to Enabled
.
- For Intel CPUs, you might need to look for Intel PTT
and enable it.
4. Save and Exit:
- Save your changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI (usually done by pressing F10
).
If you continue experiencing issues after enabling TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, make sure your system is in UEFI mode rather than Legacy BIOS. Here's a support article to help you verify and switch: UEFI Mode Guide.
For more details specific to your motherboard model, consult the ASRock support website or user manual.
