Lock up every single match
I used to stream / play this game daily without any issue. None. My computer hasn't changed, my used programs and my other open programs hasn't changed... literally nothing is different. However, after reinstalling my game to stream and play, EVERY SINGLE match has me lock up in champ select. Literally every single one. Every time i have to open up task manager, kill the process, and restart the client. I have taken like 9 AFK warnings from this, which is upsetting OUTSIDE of the frustration of the inconvenience.
I am running it in administrative mode. I have ALL my settings set to low. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything, including vanguard.
Without fail, every match locks up and goes "valorant is not responding"
I have no issues running any other game, even ones with much higher system requirements.

Sorry to hear you're having issues. Given the steps you've already tried, it might be an issue with your current installation or a conflicting background program. You could try disabling any non-essential background programs and services, as sometimes software like overlays, recording software, or RGB controllers can conflict with VALORANT. Additionally, ensure your drivers, especially the graphics and network drivers, are up to date.
If that doesn't help, you might be dealing with a deeper issue. I'd recommend performing a clean boot to see if a background application is causing the problem. Instructions on clean booting can be found here: Perform a Clean Boot in Windows.

sometimes it happen when you put your valorant on hdd, what about try to put it on ssd, it works for me

Alright. That seems to have done it. I still 'lock up' but it's a soft lock and i end up loading in on time.
It was unlocked FPS causing the issue. Once i locked everything to 60 it works fine.
For whatever reason, unlocked FPS was immediately tanking ALL my memory
in game? no issue. But agent select? lol 4million ram needed
congrats!! glad to know the problem can be solved, and advice from me, if you have more space on your ssd try to install your valorant in there, it will help
hey , I have this issue as well , like locking the fps to 60 fps? So will Vsync have the same fix?
No idea, i just locked fps at 50 for everything and left it at that

Not very well, but it's better than not being able to play at all due to lock ups

does it always need to be 50 FPS tho?? like when I'm ingame , can I max the fps? and then just switch it back once I'm back in the lobby queuing on a new match? Cause Aint no way im playing on 50 FPS just for this issue.
I honestly don't know. I just set it to 50 and said "forget it, it works."
Didn't look into it any more than that; i was streaming at the time and I only ever just drunkenly do spike rush so I wasn't stressing it being crazy competitive 😛
