Halo Infinite Failed to get Process Path
Halo Infinite is failing to launch for me, even after verifying files. After further investigation, it appears that it is not using the Proton EAC runtime. Pictures included. I am fine with solutions that end up ruling out muliplayer, but I would like to get the campaign working at least.

I'd try and launch the game using the latest protonGE and see if that works, you can get protonge from protonup-qt or try proton experimental. See the comments here from others that have managed to play https://www.protondb.com/app/1240440/
How well does Halo Infinite work on Linux and the Steam Deck?
Game information for Proton, Linux, Steam Deck, and SteamOS
It has the same failure for the latest ProtonGE and Proton Experimental.
Get the same error under any advice from ProtonDB, if it doesn't refuse to open in the first place.
can't reproduce, works fine here
@j0rge and I are playing infinite now
default (unchecked) proton version
and no launch options
Guess I got something weird then, won't complain, I did get all my EA App games working perfectly without any config.
Finally figured it out, apparently it doesn't like being on the secondary drive, but it runs on my system drive. I have encountered other errors, but it is usable now.
That's weird because I have it on my secondary drive
Works fine
Okay, so I'm still weird, but I have a workaround at least.
Also get a warning about an incompatible OS every time I start the game but I can just press continue and everything works fine.
