R s config ie
Ya i know its not in the syllabus but actually it is coming in my upcoming test 😦
Mains syllabus mein hai afaik
The trick for any R/S config is to get the 4th priority one to be on the dash
Here it is coming out to be clockwise so it is R
,rotate
Similarly in fischer projection the trick is to get the 4th most priority one on the neeche wala bond
4th priority is F ?
yes
F to plane me hai
Huh?
Depends which plane you are seeing from
But how does it matter whether it is in plane or not
yea whi to me kehara hu 1st prio is Iodine 2nd is Br third is Cl ese to anticlockwise hai aara hai
F pr to depend krega hi nhi
It doesnt work that way
You have to get the least priority one on the dash
oh is it like that?
Karega
As you make F on dash everything changes
Yes you have to follow some rules otherwise the config is always wrong i.e. opposite
acha so mujhe ye compound ko dusre plane se dekhna pdega right? jisme F Dash pr aajae
yeah but ye plane dekhne wekhne ka chodo
Just make even number of changes on the central carbon atom everything is sorted
fischer bana kr krna is best ig
everything is clear in that
As you wish.
yea thanks a lot
Welcome!
