Do we get kernel updates in bazzite releases?

I want to try out 6.9. Will this get overwritten when a new bazzite release is applied?
Solution:
kernel 6.9 comes when it hits general availability in fedora and the new fsync kernel gets built from it. if you want to change out the kernel to try a newer/different one yourself. then you need to make a custom image, you cannot apply it on an already deployed image (one that is installed on a system) as the kernel has to be added at image build time...
