Do we get kernel updates in bazzite releases?
I want to try out 6.9. Will this get overwritten when a new bazzite release is applied?

kernel 6.9 comes when it hits general availability in fedora and the new fsync kernel gets built from it.
if you want to change out the kernel to try a newer/different one yourself. then you need to make a custom image, you cannot apply it on an already deployed image (one that is installed on a system) as the kernel has to be added at image build time...
