If TPM and Secure Boot are both enabled and you still can’t boot VALORANT, it’s possible the configuration might not be matching the necessary settings. Please make sure of the following steps to resolve VAN9001, VAN9002, VAN9003, or VAN9005 errors:
1. Verify BIOS Mode:
- Ensure your system is using UEFI rather than Legacy BIOS (MBR). Enabling Secure Boot on Legacy BIOS can cause boot issues.
2. TPM Version: - Make sure TPM is version 2.0 (check this in your BIOS settings). 3. Updating Windows: - Ensure your Windows OS is fully updated, preferably running Windows 10 or 11. 4. Re-enable Secure Boot: - Disable Secure Boot, restart your PC, then re-enable Secure Boot, and restart again to ensure settings are applied correctly. If after these steps you still encounter issues, check the following articles for advanced troubleshooting: - VBS Settings on Windows 10 - VAN9001 or VAN9003 Error on Windows 11 If issues persist, consider submitting a ticket to Riot Games Support for further assistance.
