It sounds like you're experiencing persistent issues with Riot Vanguard that require a system restart to play VALORANT. Here are some steps to help you troubleshoot and resolve this: 1. Reinstall Riot Vanguard: - Open the Run dialog by pressing Win + R, type appwiz.cpl, and hit Enter. - Find "Riot Vanguard" in the list, select it, and click on Uninstall. - If the uninstallation fails, try restarting your PC and attempt the uninstallation again. 2. Reinstall VALORANT: - After successfully uninstalling Riot Vanguard, go ahead and uninstall VALORANT as well following the same steps as above. - Restart your PC after uninstalling both. 3. Clean Reinstall: - Download the latest version of VALORANT from the official site and install it. Riot Vanguard will reinstall automatically with VALORANT. - Ensure you have administrative privileges while installing. 4. Allow VALORANT through Firewall: - Make sure VALORANT and Riot Vanguard are allowed through your firewall and antivirus software. 5. System Updates: - Verify that your Windows OS is up to date. For further assistance, refer to Riot Games support: Riot Support.
