Cache hit takes forever

Hey there, I have proxied my domain through Cloudflares CDN. I have set a subdomain to be eligible for being cached. Can someone explain me what could be causing a delay of almost 50 seconds despite a Cf-Cache-Status: HIT? The first request is already heavily impacted, including a handful of other resources. The second half of resources goes through via 25ms. Reloading the page multiple times doesn't change the timings.

first thing I'd look at is CF-Ray, the end bit of it is the airport code of the location you hit cf-ray: 891a351e8d472d9d-ORD is ORD also what ISP do you have? There's been recent issues with Telekom in Germany/EU having a peering disagreement with CF and putting all traffic over congensted links. ~53 is pretty long though

For me, the origin of the requested data is an EC2 machine in us-east-2 . I'm in Canada Once I refresh it a few times it goes through and the resource is cached
