to close the thread when your doubt is solved. Mention the user who helped you solve the doubt. This will be added to their stats.It means that element is called noble gas if it has a fully filled p subshell(helium is exception)
Zinc has [Ar]3d104s2. The 4p subshell of zinc is empty. Therefore it is not a noble gas.
so for a element to be called noble gas the np subhell should be filled ?
