It sounds like you're experiencing performance issues related to how VALORANT is interacting with your system's resources, particularly when running dual monitors. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:
1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure your GPU drivers are up-to-date. You can update them through the NVIDIA/AMD control panel or their websites.
2. Adjust In-Game Settings: Lowering the in-game graphics settings may help. Try reducing the "Max FPS" or turning off features like V-Sync.
3. Windows Performance Settings: Set your PC to High-Performance mode in the Windows Power Options settings.
4. Disable Fullscreen Optimizations: Right-click on the VALORANT executable, go to Properties > Compatibility and check "Disable fullscreen optimizations."
5. Task Manager Priorities: Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), find VALORANT under the "Details" tab, right-click, and set the priority to "High."
6. Close Background Programs: Ensure no other heavy applications are running that might be taking up resources when VALORANT is active.
7. Dual Monitor Settings: In your graphics control panel, ensure that both monitors are set to their optimal refresh rates and resolutions.
If the issue persists, consider seeking further assistance from Riot Games support: Riot Games support.
