Pod GPU keeps disconnecting...

i create a pod and when i finish my work the next time i open it the gpu is not available and i have to reinstall from the beginning the whole Fooocus and loss all my downloaded checkpoints and stuff... is there a way to fix this by having my files stored somewhere safe and just connect them with the pod? and how should i do that? please be as specific as possible im beginner.

Create a network volume and attach it to your pod. There are Fooocus templates you can use instead of having to install it yourself.

what does the network volume do exactly? does it reserve a gpu when its not available so i keep my files without losing them? Do those fooocus templates support uploading custom checkpoints and models if i dont install them myself? I used the network volume and now I cannot stop the pod whenever I want I have to delete it completely to stop running and charge.

Yes, you don't need to stop it because you can simply mount it to a new pod next time you want to use it.

But the charging goes either way isn't it? I need to find a way to be able to stop the charging and also secure the gpu next time Is there a way when a gpu is reserved to transfer my data from that pod to another without deleting it?

Yes even though you stop your pod, it doesnt even secure the GPU on your rented server so.. theres no way to do that, except keeping it running Just delete the network volume, and keep the pod running. Yes by starting a pod with only vcpu, ram, your storage if there are no gpu's available you can select that

If I upload the workspace files to a cloud storage service such as Backblaze and then copy the files to the pod?

Then what? Sorry not really clear about what the sentence means It works as a backup of your pod files then
