@DrR0x I got it to work but only with local api. is there a way to not have to do that?
i want to be able to use media player too
could you go to the dev tab again and select notify.yourpc in the services and only fill in the message option
that should simply show a test notification
also ensure you have the latest fork integration, it should be called Hass.Agent 2 integration
Oh and disable local API before doing these tests obvsly. Also you have to be on our fork of the integration
Installation - Hass Agent Documentation
Access your homeassistant from any windows machine - send notifications, collect data and automate repetitive tasks
@Aviation Fan any update?
I still cant get notifications working. I removed the old version, restarted Home Assistant, installed the forked integration and the agent from https://github.com/hass-agent/HASS.Agent-Integration, restarted again. Still nothing. No service is showing for my PC.
@Vaemarr could you get or open mqttexplorer and check the correct topics are being sent.
never done that before but will give it a go
Does this help?
Actually, can you go into Hass.agent settings>notifications and do a test
It should show a notification
Solution
OK so I don't know if something changed overnight but its now working.
It defies explanation LOL
I will put it down to voodoo magic
