Not supported You'd need to make a custom image Also KDE has promised to mark any issue with X11 as closed/won't fix We are following the same What issues are you having?

Its a lot. controller issues. not being able to use scroll wheel bindings. keyboard not always showing in desktop mode. steam needs to be relaunched from desktop mode. no on screen keyboard alternative for wayland. ui glitching. especially on game launch in gamemode. for example, the ui that slides in/out that shows the logo will repeat over a few times. external display issues.

What kind of controller issues? Are you binding the scroll wheel in a game or is this on the desktop? Any game mode UI funny business is firmly within the realm of valve, we have no control over that It's just the steam client

I have reproduced that behavior in steamos It's random when it occurs

this is consistent on bazzite

Okay, I can't do anything about it You are looking at the steam client It is not consistent for me As far as your keyboard not opening issue I have had that in steamos in the past. The fix is to close steam and open it again We do not support alternative keyboards, neither does steamos

so while unsupported there is no way to get help switching to x11. to test some of these issues. i have to make my own image or go back to steamos. got it

Like I said it would require a custom image X11 is not even installed here With the only exception being the Nvidia images Even if that fixed your problem it's a dead end, KDE will not support it and the option to install it is being eliminated within the next 5 months Same is true on GNOME

We have a commit that removed all of the X11 stuff from our session model You would need to revert that and then install the package in a custom image Basically a fork with a built-in expiration date
