The VAN9001 error generally relates to Secure Boot or TPM settings. Here's a step-by-step solution to troubleshoot this issue:
1. Enable Secure Boot and TPM:
- Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings. You usually do this by pressing a key like F2, F10, DEL, or ESC during the boot process (your screen should display which key to press).
- Find the Secure Boot option and make sure it is enabled.
- Similarly, find the option for TPM (Trusted Platform Module) and ensure it is turned on.
2. Update Windows:
- Ensure your Windows is fully updated. Go to
Settings
-> Update & Security
-> Windows Update
and check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if needed.
3. Check for Specific Settings:
- Follow this official Riot Games guide specifically for VAN9001 and VAN9003 errors on Windows 11: Troubleshooting the VAN9001 or VAN-9003 Error on Windows 11.
If you've done all of the above and still face the issue, you might want to reinstall Riot Vanguard by uninstalling VALORANT and Vanguard, then reinstalling the game from scratch.
