Can anyone get ckb-next working?

I'm trying to support 2 pieces of hardware - razer tartarus pro + corsair ironclaw rgb wireless. I honestly don't care about the rgb settings and just want to manage input mapping.Openrazer obv doesn't support corsair, but also doesn't support my tartarus. Input Remapper (installed on bazzite by default) works, but after ~5-15min of play my mouse profile disconnects and won't reinject/connect until I restart my computer all together (plus the UX is kinda clunky...). ckb-next requires qt5-qtbase-devel, but I'm unable to install (logs attached). I am open to other options besides ckb-next if they exist.

I have the same problem. I got CKB to install and launch but when I click on anything it crashes. I think it could be issue with Wayland since it works fine on PopOS which uses X11. Still no solution though. The solution was switching to X11/Xorg. For anyone else with CKB-Next issues, it does appear It need to be in X11. Just had to go to the terminal and use command: sudo dnf install gnome-session-xsession gnome-classic-session-xsession, reboot and log in dial will appear on bottom right choose Gnom…

for reference if you install x11 you will get no support from us and upstream since x11 is deprecated and no longer supported by us and upstream

The issue is that really CKB-Next needs to be rebased to work with Wayland, you're best off reaching out to the developer of CKB-Next via GitHub, and, opening a new issue over there if one doesn't already exist that requests a move to Wayland. Relyjng on XWayland won't be an option forever so the software will have to make the switch eventually.

I figured that is the case. If there are any alternatives to ckb-next , other than OpenRGB, that works for Corsair K and M I haven't been able to find one . I would just get a System76 launch keyboard but for that money I need dedicated media controls and a matching mouse which they don't make.

i wanted one too but since they only have ANSI layout which is actually an incomplete layout for nordic countries, i decided to just build one myself using keychron Q1 as a base (only one available in norway at the time) i wanted TKL but that didnt exist (it does now though) i could get whatever keys i wanted and i can program it exactly like i want using VIA
