WHAT is this on my new Meermins

Just bought a pair of meermin horsebit loafers as they were on sale, they got here today and have some weird discolouration on them? Is this normal or should I complain? Anyone else had similar happen? I've seen these kind of marks on a pair of RM williams I have, but those were bought used and have been used heavily since

update: its come out a bit using a soft cloth but still, they're meant to be new and nice

Could be marks on the hide that they got from their supplier, could be tooling marks from the shoe being made not really a big deal and at meermins pricepoint probably to be expected

yeah thats sort of what im thinking everything else i have likely has much higher QC at the prices they are i might just take it on the chin as they were cheap and will get worn anyway

That's probably what I would do as well. If I had paid a higher price from a different manufacturer I would be more inclined to complain/reach out to them

Not worth worrying about imo, keeping your shoes perfect is a fools errand anyway and this is nigh invisible

Meermin’s QC (or lack of thereof) strikes back!
