GeForce NOW on Legion Go with Bazzite, input lag?
Hi, I'm running GeForce Now through chrome in gamemode.
Experiencing a huge amount of lag.
- 1920x1200, 1 x Scale
- HHD providing controller emulation
- The GFN OSD stats suggest my connection is fine
- GFN is working as expected with the same setup on my steam deck, and fine through the app on my shield TV
- Chrome is setup correctly with controller access
So I can only assume that the lag is input lag, has anyone experienced this and potentially solved it?

If you on an Nvidia GPU try an X11 session, bottom left in KDE of the login screen and bottom right in Gnome of the login screen. If it's not that maybe try chrome in desktop mode and see if it's any better as a process of elimination
Legion Go, will try desktop though
Ah sorry, read the description and not the heading 🫢 . Also worth checking what version you are on with
rpm-ostree status
in the terminalDesktop works fine, that's really odd, completely up to date too
For info, launched via steam in desktop to rule out launch params
Figured it out, had a TDP limit of 15w set for it, put it back to 25 and it's fine now, would have though 15 would be enough though even at 1200p
The legion go sadly does not have such an energy efficent cpu like the deck.
i would imagine maybe 20w might have done it but i dont use geforce now 😅
I'll dial it in, mostly play plugged in though so no big deal, just habit of having game appropriate TDP profiles set
yeah i do the same, got profiles for every game on my deck
just got the legion go a few days ago so not used that one as much for gaming other than testing
I prefer it overall, that extra power is very nice to have, slight annoyances with some Decky plugins, and waiting for HHD to release Xbox Elite emulation so I don't have to enable it every time I reboot lol, only thing I really prefer on deck are the trackpads, they're just way better
Oh and the speakers on the go are ass, even with a good profile haha, but headphones solve that
Gimme SD trackpads, Go specs and form factor, and Ally speakers, that'd be a perfect handheld
I agree the deck trackpads are way better
