Athletic wear fit question
I tried buying some nicer athletic wear, but I'm not really sure how it should fit? Are the shorts too short here, and is the shirt too tight around the stomach? Trying to touch grass this summer and play in rec leagues, but never once considered how gymwear should fit.

Separately, is it just me or is this shirt way too long? There's like a weird trend where shorts are getting shorter but loose fits are also more common now...
Gymwear should be comfortable and not impede you doing your exercise/sport/workout/etc. Beyond that I don't think there's any particular way it should fit. Do the shorts feel too short when you run? Sit on a bike? Stretch?
Similarly, how does the shirt feel when you move around?
At a quick glance, nothing stands out as bad to me and everying looks like it fits fine. But how's it feel?
Big shirt little pants is a thing
First shirt might be a touch big but I don’t think it’s going to matter when playing sports, what Ler said - if it feels good it works
That's reasonable - I feel like the shorts are a bit tight around the thighs in the first picture while the shirt feels a bit drapey in the second, but nothing that impedes movement
good to know i'm not going crazy
TBH it looks like how I wear my shirts 🤷🏻♂️ and I’d rather a shirt I’m playing sports in be roomy than tight
Solid fit man. Where'd you get those pants??
story mfg lush denim/jeans
these in linen have a very similar shape and better price https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1099593003/linen-barrel-leg-pants-cocos-natural?click_key=2219540faea8380350f8a48bd7920be02bdb28cf%3A1099593003&click_sum=1906457b&ref=related-1&sts=1&variation1=3238376495
I've gone back and forth on ordering clothing from Etsy for a while now, especially linen stuff since there's so little variety in colors at most stores. I'm paranoid I'll have to wait a whole month to get a product I can't return
