Webpage suddenly not loading

I've been using HTML to make a soundboard. Last week I updated it with FileZilla, no problem. Suddenly today I edited the HTML page (frame_a.html) and uploaded it (overwriting the one on the server) but all I get is the old version. Here's the page: https://www.fbesp.org/sndbrd/frame_a.html I've tried different browsers. I downloaded the file from the server, and it's the right one. (I made the background grey, so if you click the link above, you should see a grey page.) I've never experienced this in 20 years of HTML coding. What should I try next?

Caching? Hard clear the cache or rename and update link to the file. 🤷‍♂️ I know you said different browser but yea idk 😄 have to give us more to go on maybe. Hosting can also have some aggressive caching for static assets.

yeah actually it's a frame in this page -- https://www.fbesp.org/sndbrd/soundboard.html and I changed that wrapper file to direct to "frame_c.html" so it would basically break.. but it does nothing The page that is on the FTP server is NOT the page that's loading on the web browser Update: I spoke to my friend (who hosts the FTP server) and he uploaded a test page with no problems.. Which suggests the problem is on my end. He suggested I try a different FTP client. So I used a different client.. but I'm having the same problem.. Which means what? Is this possibly a problem with my internet provider? How is this happening?

it's not likely to be your ISP it's impossible to tell what the problem is with the information you've given. It could be that you're uploading to the wrong location, or that the permissions on the server changed and your friend as the host has different / higher permissions, or that there's something else entirely going on

I appreciate the response. The sudden nature of the change is driving me nuts, as is my inability to do anything to fix it. I guess I'll keep bugging my friend.
If anyone else has suggestions or ideas, please let me hear them.

We would need to know more about the hosting.... You said a friend? I mean I'm going to still guess it's some aggressive server caching, or cdn caching. How is this served and hosted. Or like jochem said could be path issues Proxy issues... Who knows without more info, we just guessing

Okay thanks. I'll see what I can find out. Apparently they rearranged something and I was supposed to upload to a different FTP host but no one told me! Anyway it's sorted. Thank you for being here. Although I didn't get a solution here, it's really nice to have someone to speak with when I'm experiencing a tech headache. You all rock!
