Need advice for reworking my group project?

Hi everyone! I am looking for some advice and inspirations for my previous group project that I made during a workshop. This is a Digital Wallet that is similar to any other digital wallet but it allows people to track their spending and look at their transaction more clearly. I want to make it more real world like and more presentable. I uploaded only 10 photos because I don't want to flood this section. Please kindly give some ideas for this app. I accept any kinds of comments. Thanks and appreciate for advance for your time and effort! Have a nice day everyone!

For the first page (with keypad) you might have to think about how users will really interact with it for example, you might just want them to use their own numberpad for things like this. Or try to identify a layout that works well with that a little better. I've attached a few example. Found an image on dribble that you might be able to user, for example filling in the 2nd half where you added the numberpad with potential currencies (last image attached). Maybe even have the user set their own preferred currency and it shows the conversion across a few different ones.

For this page you might find a bit of a benefit by moving the my weekly expenses badge to a header above the graph itself. This will also give your graph a bit more room to show the chart off as well as fill in a bit of that gap at the bottom. I attached a really rough screenshot of what about moving the weekly expenses. This might be my preference but for an app like this you might want a clear number on the home page that shows the change and also compares it to other weeks. For the set of buttons (3x3 center of page) you have here you also might need to make them a bit more of a consistent size, as the gap between the sizes messes up a bit of the cohesion. For the cards you might want to add a slight fill behind them that helps denote what page you're on. This will let you use a darker color to help visibility for the icons on the bottom.

I don't think you really need headers of this size to denote the page you're on. You might find more space and a bit cleaner of a look if you maybe add a little breadcrumb format for it.

Here are a few more home pages for apps that deal with some sort of spend tracking/saving to potentially show what I meant here a bit more about seeing the change ASAP.

Thank you for your attention. I will definitely look at the things you said carefully.

Feel free to ask questions if something was unclear, I kind of dumped a bunch in here. Also these are my perspective, so if you see anything you disagree with trust your gut. E.g., the page highlights at the bottom as there are different solutions to every problem

You said that "have the user set their own currency and shows the conversion across different ones". I don't quite understand what you want to say. Can you explain a bit more?

So for example, lets say their account operates in USD. You could show the currency conversion rate vs other ones e.g. CAD, MMK, RMB, GBP etc at the bottom. Maybe even adding a favorite button such that they're at the top and they can click those even to see the total conversion for their account etc This would help you fill in some of the space left by things like the keypad that would generally be solved by their own phones internal solution I'll do a rough draft real quick to show what I mean

Oh!!! I get it now but I will wait for your sketch for more clear vision

Something like this, maybe even adding some sort of sorting stuff.

to be honest I was a bit lazy to think it through, but you could potentially auto convert their acc for them etc initially in terms of value against. But keep in mind for currency conversions and stuff you also need things like timestamps in there to provide context as they do fluctuate (although small amounts or big amounts depending on currency) e.g., everytime you do a paypal transaction to a friend in another country it shows the time and agreed upon exchange rate and all that stuff Also overall, the biggest thing that seperates a draft project from one that looks a bit professional is spacing and the good usage of assets & keeping consistency

For example, heres how shit one of my projects looked then I came back a few months later with more knowledge about these different things (right = old, left = newer)

In home page, you said I need more consistency in terms of size and spacing between the buttons. I made the 3 buttons more bigger because I want them to get more attention but you are right that they aren't look that good. What do you think I should do?

Mind taking a screenshot?

What do you mean?

You mean the bottom home page buttons correct? the navigation just wanted to see the exact spot you were talking about again

No, I mean these ones

You can maybe roll those up into a side menu with a hamburger potentially even to clean it up and have the home page focus on more of the current numbers and current pulse

The thing is that it is the digital wallet so I think I need to show at least the three buttons which are Transfer, Cash in, and Cash out.

Maybe you can add 1 or 2 of those to the bottom as well then instead? and then maybe have small summary widgets for those in there e.g., a table showing the most recent cash in cash out transactions denoted by a green with + and a red with a minus e.g,, Transaction X - $35 - Red - Out Transaction Y - +$1232 - Green - In

It is also a good idea to try but I already have the history page so it is kinda not that necessary.

Still it might be nice to have just the last few transactions for a user on the home page

This is kind of what I meant about rolling up some of those extra buttons

or the less used buttons although not really formatted well yet As for example my banking app I can swipe out this menu and see a bunch more options. Whereas on the bottom I have the most frequented stuff e.g., Banking Investments Transfers etc...

Btw, both of your images are amazing. But I really notice changes in the left one and it is awesome. Thank you.

appreciate it! I kind of look at the right side which was an older wireframe though and look at my color usage and some of how I did placement and go :yikes: But overall i think you got something pretty good here otherwise I wouldnt have popped in, looking forward to see how it turns out. let me know if you have any questions! or also if you need any screenshots of some apps or something as I have mobbin
