Error while installing: mke2fs Input/Output Error
Hi, was wondering if anybody knows how to troubleshoot
Failed to execute child process "mke2fs" (Input/output error) while installing bazzite-deck on steam deck? What steps should I take to resolve this, and what info could I provide to help diagnose this?
I should also note that I am installing the latest bazzite-deck (KDE) version from Ventoy.Solution:Jump to solution
I figure the main problem might be my USB stick then, since I just recieved the deck from steam support after a repair. I'm trying to order a new dongle, so we will see if that works!

Input/output error usually indicates an issue with the drive or filesystem, in this case it could be the drive as it is trying to run a program to make a filesystem.
