How do I find: - distance traveled during the nth second - time taken to travel the nth metre while an object is accelerating or decelerating?

U can use formula s = ut + 1/2 at*2

distance in nth second: s= u+ (a/2)*(2n-1) Use Galileo Method to calculate distance in nth second for free falling obj.

@idk you can also solve it by basic method for ex if you want to calculate the distance travelled in 4th sec just calculate the distance travelled in 4 secs and distance travelled in 5 secs and then just subtract it distance travelled in 5 seconds - distance travelled in 4 seconds = distance travelled in 4th second..

Look up Namo Kaul galileo method on yt. Its like an easy relation b/w distance travelled in nth second for free falling body with u=0 and const accln. I wish i could link it for you but i have YT blocked for the next 15 days 😅

but for that youll need to find the velocity after 4th second and velocity after 5th second also 2 more lengthy equations to solve alr ty

You can apply Equation of motion if u hve initial velocity and acceleration , even if you apply formula you’ll need initial velocity and acceleration

Nth second ke lie tumhe n sec ka s - n-1 sec ka s nikalna padega

Why no S(n) - S(n-1) The literal derivation lol
