Proton GE 7-42 not being detected
Hey, so It seems like everything installed correctly as far as my bazzite gnome for steam deck copy goes but i'm having problems with getting Lutris to detect that i've installed/enabled proton ge 7-42. That or proton up QT is lying to me. I guess i can provide photos or quotes of the error messages but basically, like i said, it's not being detected and/or not being installed correctly.

Did you select lutris when selecting the app to insttall GE for?
also it's better to use WineGE rather than protonGE in lutris
Yes that part I was certain of as far as selecting lutris instead of steam for the install but as far as wine ge/proton ge i was following install instructions for the FFXI private server horizon. But I will try to find wine ge 7-42
I did read online that same thing; lutris doesn't like proton..
I was able to sort this out. Basically it all installed correctly, i just wasn't selecting the right GE layer under wine runner options in lutris
