Uhh.. what's the red flag here? This seems fairly normal for an intermediate or senior role.

Have you handled all of this in your intermediate/senior roles? @Pobiega

Define handle? I do most of the above in my current position But it's not my sole responsibility The only red flag here is SOAP imho :p That tells me they use some legacy services that are not very well maintained and will likely be pain points But sadly, that's not uncommon. We have a government resource that only talks SOAP and is super critical for what we do... 😦 The list seems really long, but a lot of these are kinda similar or just describe stuff everyone knows. Know how to work with JSON? Yeah. Know how to develop APIs? Yeah.. use git? Yeah... And take into account that "requirements" in job ads are wishlists, you don't need to check every single one

Enterprise involves a lot of different tech most of the time, including CI/CD, etc. I don't see a red flag immediately, no.

"Capable of defining / implementing both business & operational performance metrics into the application solutions." This is the biggest red flag to me. That just sounds like logging and grep to me, but the question I would have is why don't they have this already? @Buddy, Citizen of Pluto

Well, maybe they want you to be able to do Greenfield development And thus add metrics as you go (OTeL is a hit topic right now)

That sounds more like newrelic, APM, OTeL, etc, which we make heavy use of where I work. oh, someone already mentioned that, probably should have finished scrolling before I replied lmao

Are these systems for making metrics?

Yes, they're all different systems used to achieve the same thing At work we use newrelic, but at some point we'll be migrating to APM

That all looks like pretty standard stuff ngl. Looks like a mix of old and new tech so likely they have old stuff that needs retrofits. Or it's a client based solution company so you'll be doing contracts for all manner of jobs, which is why they need a fairly diverse dev They're asking for both Dev, DevOps, abd an Architect. If they truly require all 3 of those hats to be worn by 1 person then I wouldn't take that job for less than 85k if I was a junior
