See if this helps

(The hanging thing is one idea check the earlier videos of âtreating systemsâ)
wait, pullay massless nahi hai?
masless hai, string constraint se karna hai
voh string constraint ka thinking process hi mujhe nahi aa rha
from what i can observe, force of pullay on clamp zyada easy rahega calculate karna
lemme try
It doesnt have the concept of string constraint sir, thank you tho đ
force of clamp on the pulley is its normal force. I didnt get you with this one tho, fbd mein dkha sakte ho?
answer is c?
nope B
damn i see
Oho okay. Thatâs strange.
So like in this system tension is the same throughout cuz there is only 1 string, but if lets say block m moves x distance, then block 2m will move x/2 distance
Thus m moves with velocity v and 2m moves with v/2. That relation between velocity or distance moved is the concept of string constraint.
Getting the idea that i need concept of string constraint and then establishing that relation is what im not able to understand.
I mean like thru distance, we can relate velocity and accln so yeah its all part of the conept
Let the distance between A and B is x
and the distance between A and mass m is y
so, $ 2x + y = l$ (constant)
(taking accn in any direction we get $2\ddot{x} = \ddot{y}$
Now find the tension in the string and draw fbd of pulley A
Keshav
I am getting T = 2mg/3
now draw fbd for the pulley and equate tension forces in the direction of the clamp to the support force
Wah nice. This was the only part in whole of 11 12 that i blantantly just left. Most of mechanics.
Time to revisit đ
Yeahhh okay yeah cool
Coool okay got it
Appreciate the help guys!!
