FAAANG engineer to system/software engineer role with TS/SCI FSP?

Anyone have suggestions on how to accomplish this? May be a longshot. There's so few roles that will sponsor for FSP so i'm wondering if it's even possible to directly switch to a role like this. I am based in MD btw.

Start with the highest clearance and work ur way down 💯 there can only be so many postings u would qualify for Higher clearance can be very valuable! but imo not worth I hate the style of govt jobs

As high as you can get... Higher clearance doesn't necessarily mean higher pay but usually I think it would I've heard of worse companies in industry govt is subpar too much legislation and compliance work ethic was never existent

I’m planning to pursue contracts myself so im willing to sacrifice for a bit I would think it would be hybrid so maybe not ~always~ in a box
